Pope Joan

From 855 AD to 858, there was a Pope who was a WOMAN. Crazy right? Historians say that Pope Joan is a myth, which I mean sure it could be, but also could be true. After the death of her brother, she disguises herself as a man and enters a monastery as "Brother John Anglicus". She (or he..I do not know) became very educated and became a scholar. Because of her superior intelligence, she was elected Pope VIII in 855. She managed to hide her true identity for 3 years until while doing a papal procession ( Papal Procession: A formal ceremonial parade involving the Pope and various clergy, often including cardinals, bishops, and other officials, as well as acolytes, guards, and musicians.) she went into labor. Now, her death was between two things, she died during birth or after she gave birth she was stoned to death after people found out her true identity. So you may be asking what happened to her baby. Well, it's between 3 things. The child was dragged from a horse along with Joan then was stoned, the child survived and became Bishop Of Ostia, and the child died during the birth.

There is a lack of evidence to support the existence of Pope Joan, so this may be just a story created for entertainment. I do not know. A lot of people have made movies about this myth, such as Pope Joan (1972), Pope Joan (Die Papstin), and some other foreign movies, including Joan the Pope. Anyways, how cool was that story? It taught me to take risks even if it means becoming a man. At least I would get to be Pope. Anyway besides jokes, if it is a true story I hope we find more evidence and information about it because it's super intriguing.

And you know, since Pope Joan had "superior intelligence" what if she built an alien coffin that keeps her body alive, and she stays locked away somewhere and the person we suspect was Joan who gave birth and died, is a clone she made. And when the time is right she will be back and trick everyone again. I do not know, just a thought. Anyways, Ciao, Tschuss, and Adios.
