Interviews at Pride
Hello everyone! Good morning, Buenos Dias. Yesterday I took an adventure to the Castro Area of San Fransico. It was June 29th, the pride parade. The parade had just ended and I entered the streets of Castro where many interesting human beings were. There my mission began. As I walked past the many naked people, my young eyes were stung and my soul felt damp. I understand your nakedness is natural and it's a product of God, but I am not used to seeing Gentilia bouncing down the sidewalk. Anyway, I interviewed three beings. It was truly an amazing experience, I wish I interviewed more, but due to the lack of time, I couldn't. Other than the people dressed up as dogs on leashes crawling, people selling shrooms, the smell of weed, the bare chests, the bare butt people, the openmindedness it gave me was worth it.
Interview 1:
Names:
Maya, Dialy
"Whats your guy's sense of style?"
Maya: "I wear Commando, an all women's company. My style is sustainable wear, with high-quality material. The clothes have to fit and have a feel. I'm blonde and light-skinned so light colors go well with me. I like being comfy as well, so I have my Air Jordans.
Maya was dressed in what seemed to be a Speerise gold full-body suit held on by a brown-leathered bohemian belt, an amazing silver sequin jacket, millennial pink Air Jordans 3s, with a millennial pink cap, and bright Marilyn Monroe shade lipstick.
Dialy: "I wear comfy clothes and clothes that show emotion. Like, my expression, how I feel."
Dialy was dressed in tight black cargos, a silver sequin jacket (just like Maya!), black exercise shoes, black shades, dark red cherry lipstick, and a black cap.
Why are you guys here today?
Maya: " I am here for my transgender child, and I am a ally. I am so joyful about it. He is here with his friends. There is a huge spectrum everyone needs to know about and support."
Dialy: "I am here to support Maya and the community. I believe in that there are so many of us in support of the community. Community is a big impact in peoples lives"
Interview 3:
This Pride Parade Attendee was the best person I interviewed. She had amazing energy and her outfit was the most interesting. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of her, so USE YOUR IMAGINATION. Anyways Kristina, If you find this, I hope all is well.
Name:
Kristina
What would you call your sense of style?
Kristina: "I am inspired by the New Romantic style of the 80s. Like, Boy George and Devo. Nowadays, I am inspired by Chapell Roan."
Kristina was dressed in a red and white checkered dress, a red wig, white paint on her face along with false lashes and a plaster of colors on the eyelids.
Why are you here?
Kristina: " I am here every year. I am an ally, and I have a lot of queer friends. I think there shouldn't just be a month to celebrate queers, we should celebrate queers everyday!"
One quote by you?
Kristina: "Honey, wear the outfit!"
